I went to work for The Gas Company after my 10 year marriage ended, 1997. After years of working for The Gas Company and raising my girls alone, I was hit by a drunk driver, July 2001. I had neck, back and wrist surgery. I want my job back but the company is fighting me. Wasting money with defense attorney's that could be my paycheck. I feel like they are waiting for me to die or be completely destitute. I don't qualify for state aid because I own a car. I need to keep the roof we have over our heads. My utility bills are due NOW. I have no parents to lean on. My mother passed when I was 15 and my father died about 9 years ago. I'm at rock bottom! I will do anything at this point to earn money. I'm not afraid of hard work. My girls are good students. I'd rather die than be a failure in their eyes. But I need help NOW today! My kids don't know how dire our situation is and I will never let them know how close we are to the end. My mask has been, I can do everything alone. Sadly, I can't.
