Lead singer Chris Daughtry is a ONE member and has been to Africa to help raise awareness about the fight against extreme poverty and global disease. This a great chance for anybody in the Vegas area to rock out and support ONE.

Thanks for the Information about the concert. I will make it available to the Lutheran churches I am familiar with in the NW Las Vegas, NV area so that they can publicize it to their members, especially their yout groups. (I am assuming that you have emailed Larry Struve, a member of one of the ONE churches in Nevada, as well as the lobbyist for the Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Nevada (LAMN) on issues before the Nevada Legislature. The Vice President of LAMN is Pastor Paul Hansen of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church (my church) and probably should be emailed personally, also. He would be listed in the ELCA pastors’ directory, I believe.)

12 billion was spent on war last year!!!! 18 billion was spent on plastic bottles for water in one year. All it takes is a “mom and pop” shop in every little town and we can afford the freedom of iraqi’ woman and people who are used and abused. these fundraisers arent giving most money, otherewise they would be called “fundgivers” . brazil is is the most biggest rainforest we have left . i BET all these actors have brazilian cherry harwood flooring in thier houses!!!!!!! ANY TAKER!!!????? OUR soldiers are the reaL HERO’S’ ./…………… NOT SOME POLITICIAN , RAPPER, ATHLETE OR ACTOR . THEY are raising money to benefit thenselves, otherwise they would be in the middle class. ALL of the actors combined have enough money to cure world hunger, and they wont cometogether.
