Sorry I just discovered your website and don't really have time to explain, but watch the AIDS Inc. trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQHXsmaxCiQ

I think at least important organizations need to know that there is a debate over the role/existence of HIV. This is pretty important considering that every legal cure for AIDS is created to fight against HIV.
Don't believe eyerything you hear, do your own research.

Thanks Debra for being enthusiastic about Prof. Sachs' latest book and for posting a link for his appearance the other night on "The Daily Show". I actually saw it the other night and couldn't believe my eyes.

Who would have thought that our movement to end extreme poverty could have been blended into popular culture? Thanks B-man. (smile)

Actually, Prof. Sachs was in DC all day today. Check out this radio interview that he did on the new book:

Take good care, my friends. Blessings always.

Thanks, as always, Virginia for bringing us up to date on what is currently in the media regarding World Water Day.

I was most impressed with the Reuters article and just wanted to stress that the long term benefits of money spent to bring clean water sources to the world's poorest areas far outweigh the actual cost of those projects.

In short, it is "bang for the buck" and something that governments in the richer nations definitely should elevate in their list of priorities in their development assistance programs.

On a similar note, I just want to mention to those friends here in the ONE Blog that Prof. Jeffrey Sachs has just released his newest book "Common Wealth" and from what I already know about it, this book is definitely ONE that all of us here should be reading.

Take very good care, everyONE. Blessings - not just for those who kneel.

AS ONE, debbie :)
