It is nice to be a part of an organization that I believe in and to have it recognized by our presidential candidates. It is rewarding to spend a couple of minutes of my time at least once a week to try to do something for the bettering of our world whether it is voting on issues such as how funds should be allocated or simply signing my signature to back a common interest in ending poverty or worldwide health concerns. It feels terrific to be a part of the one organization.

"Of the people and for the people"; that's the America I want to see again. I'm tired of a government that's the best lobbyists can buy and career politicians who have forgotten the meaning of being a public servant.

I'm just one small voice; a middle class American struggling each month to pay the bills. I work hard to teach students with learning and behavior challenges. But I find my paycheck barely covers monthly expenses and medications I need as a breast cancer survivor and now a diabetic from my chemo treatments. But I'm a fighter, and I'm looking for those same qualities in our next President.

I want a President who will be a champion for the poor and middle class, controlling the corporate greed of predatory companies that take away American jobs driving many to bankruptcy. I want a President who will restore our image in the world and faith in the dollar. Even though I'm just one small voice, I know it is my duty as a citizen to speak out.

Do you feel the same way? Do ou want to fight for change in our country? The time is now; time for average citizens to band together and take action. Get involved. Give contributions or at least vote for a candidate who can turn the tables and bring about real change.

I know in my heart the man for this job is John Edwards. He has the experience, integrity and spirit to take on the tough issues. John Edwards understands the needs of the average citizen. He is committed to closing the gap between the rich and poor, bringing back jobs, decent housing and affordable medical care for all Americans.

Please won't you join my one small voice to become a unified roar and support John Edwards for President? Join the battle. Together we can make our government once more that is "of the people and for people!" America needs John Edwards!!

Does it really matter whether someone uses a script or not? What's really important is the commitment these candidates are making. They all indicated they are aware of the presence of ONE and it's importance but what do they plan to do? I didn't hear any candidate give us anything specific about what they will do.

There is a lot of lip service eminating from all the politicos praising the work of One.org but who will stand and deliver? I think even W would be on this bandwagon without any intention of doing anything but get votes. Which candidate is truly basing a campaign on fighting poverty and which candidate would be held most closely to his campaign wishes, promises and designs? Which candidate really has the best grasp of this situation and is aligned most closely with the ideals set forth by One? If you said anybody but John Edwards you just haven't been paying attention. Remember, that's how we got in the mess we are in now. Read and educate yourselves as much as you can before you vote. It's your duty to make an informed decision. The world is counting on it.
Thank you.

I've volunteered with RESULTS for 20 years and Hillary Clinton has been a key voice in the fight against poverty for years. The first microcredit program in the U.S. as in Arkansas when Bill Clinton was Governor and Hillary was a force in bringing microcredit to the U.S. She is very knowledgeable on the issues and a stand for the end of hunger and poverty - no matter what many of the other candidates say, they will not lead the way in these areas!

I'd like to second what Kerry says, December 20th, 2007 at 3:18 pm.

I'd like to see someone with heart say something rather than just play 'we love ONE, oh your so great' (which you are of course).

I think that come this election time we'll need to judge very carefully to see who of the candidates really does see that we, the world, are ONE and that we need to treat each other with more love.

peace,
mi

Congratulations to One.org and all of the ONE FAMILY MEMBERS for confronting all the candidates on the real human issues of our times and for putting together such an AMAZING clip as well as website. You all, in the technical department should receive more than commendations for the amazing job you have done.

I have been a ONE supporter since the very first time I heard Bono speak.
(How could anyone in their right minds disagree with the things he has had to say to the world?)

Unfortunately, at this time of year, there is still much suffering and pain going on in the world. We all have a moral, human, responsibility to give of ourselves as much as we can to assist the global community. Not to make war and strife with it.

What our Candidates have to say regarding the "humanistic" facet of our world has everything to do with where MY vote will be placed in the coming elections and rest assured that there are a whole lot more JUST LIKE me that is going to be paying attention to what they have to say.

We must get back to a "ONE WORLD" approach and share the world in a compassionate fashion instead of waiting to see the bombs of destruction on the horizon.

KUDOS ONE.ORG!

Happy Holidays to One Family Members, worldwide!
