ONE Madison Meets
ONE members in Madison are planning a get together on Saturday to find out who else in their area supports ONE – and more importantly – to continue building the movement in the area!
Madison members have been active for years – volunteering for conferences, sharing information on the ONE Madison group¸ meeting with members of Congress, and organizing tabling for ONE in their churches and street markets. But this meeting is the first in more than a year that will bring them together in ONE place to learn first hand about the new initiatives such as ONE VOTE ’08, the ONE Campus Challenge, and ONE Sabbath. More importantly, they will meet the other active volunteers in their areas so they can work together to raise awareness about extreme poverty and global disease.
