Listen. Do not have an opinion while you listen because frankly, your opinion doesn?t hold much water outside of Your Universe. Just listen. Listen until their brain has been twisted like a dripping towel and what they have to say is all over the floor.

That's my point as well, "considerthis". Whilst SheMuses has a valid statement on "any publicity is good pubicity", the problem here is, Brady isn't so much concerned about the charity as he is about his OWN image, and using One.org to make the deluded NE football fans think "oh look, our Tom throws record TDs and manages to do charideeeee as well". I'm not against the charity, I'm only questioning the motivations behind tom's sudden burst of PR.

Example of how he can brainwash people is right there, in the 2nd post from from jack - "This guy is good. Way to go Tom!". That's EXACTLY the kind of publicity Brady wanted from this stunt to cover up his uber colourful tabloid life in the last year.

I don't know if the adage applies to this situation...When celebrities use charities selfishly, I think it leaves a bad taste in the public's mouth. The bad part about this, is the ONE campaign is very celebrity driven. Brady's selfishness reflects poorly on all of the celebrities supporting the campaign.

The old adage, "Any publicity is GOOD publicity," applies here. If we can start supporting each other, no matter our personal differences, as ONE proponents we WILL make a difference. This goes out to you Soumya. The Golden Rule applies to every situation, including the impoverished and the blessed.
Kudos to Brady for putting ONE in front of the sports press.
What's more, Hunter S. Thompson, spent his last years writing for ESPN. His thought was that sports fans could be a tremendous voting block and truly effect change when inspired to vote.

And before can answer the question in my previous post, please none of you mention about that holiday he took in Africa, travelling on Bono's private jet and dragging the entire media with him as he shook hands with a few underprivileged kids. The man's become a media-whore, and he would even sell his grandma for 50 quid if it meant getting the right kind of publicity out of it.

Some people in here can be so thick. Oh wait, you're all Tom Brady fans...no wonder. What good does it do wearing a shirt and doing nothing? When was the last time you heard of Brady hvaing done anything for charity? Manning's got a hospital ward in his name, he does a lot for charity. In a way, you can say Brady also does work for charity - HIS OWN. He's using worthy organisations to further his own PR image. I feel sad for those who don't see through it.

There were several articles written this week comparing manning and brady. In the "charitable donations" department, manning won the comparison. This is not a coincidence. There's no other reason Brady is wearing the T-shirt this week. I feel bad that this guy is being used to represent a worthy organization.

If you know anything about the NFL, you know that this was the press conference before what will be the biggest game of the regular season. That means that Tom Brady waited until now to get maximum exposure for his One.org shirt. And it worked. It was on ESPN Sports Center and many local sports broadcasts nation wide. This guy is good. Way to go Tom!

Awesome!

Go Pats!

Maybe if they beat the Colts this weekend Brady will take it as a good luck charm and wear his ONE shirt to every press conference.
