Assuming either the Left Wing or the Right Wing gained control of the country, it would probably fly around in circles.

I'm appalled to see the sad history of malaria control begin to repeat itself.

To be promoting eradication at this point sounds highly irresponsible and ignores some basic principles of biology and ecology, not to mention our experience with drug and insecticide resistance in previous eradication efforts. When will people learn and start promoting more sustainable suppression efforts like housing modification and environmental management that have the potential to reduce malaria burdens over the long-term with little external input beyond the initial investment?

How many times do people have to knock their heads against brick walls down blind alleys before they learn to take another route? How many lives will continue to be wasted?

During the Town Hall discussions on the first day of the Forum, eradication became a possibility, on the second day of the Forum in Melinda Gates' introduction eradication became a reality! On the third day of the Forum the the world waits to hear how we can be the generation that eradicates malaria!
