To Err is Human, to Fight Poverty Divine

Many of us aren’t satisfied with the luxury of tap water. Instead, we drink bottled water, while 6 million people around the world are drinking unsafe water and exposing themselves to deadly diseases like typhoid, cholera and dysentery. Fortunately, there has been a lot of innovative thinking around the issue. For example, I just read about LifeStraw, a 10-inch purifier that makes surface water drinkable. It’s not perfect, but it’s an idea that deserves attention.

At DivineCaroline.com we’re giving changemakers a free platform to tell their stories and share their innovative ideas. Since we’re all involved with ONE.org, I thought you’d want to know how easy it is to publish stories, share reviews, and join forums at DivineCaroline.com . It’s just another place to spread the word on these important issues.

I admit, it’s sometimes hard to get my head around the stats on poverty, AIDS, human rights, and sustainability. But when I read a personal story behind the issue, it brings it all home for me. I believe that by sharing stories on DivineCaroline.com we’ll get more people to take action at ONE.org. Take just a minute to check out DivineCaroline and chime in with a rant, a rave, an idea, or a story of your own. Registration is fast and free. Hope to see you soon.
