Obamanomics: Trickle Up Poverty
I suppose that you have no background in finance, professor, do you? Ever study how raising taxes adversely affects the people & economy here in the US? You really think that our government, an entity, is rich don't you? Some of it's citizens are & give a great deal to charity. Some of them aren't.

It is a great endeavor that the government must undertake. The United States had the capacity and structure to eradicate poverty within its boarders. With proper systems, management, monitering and evaluation of state and local city programs tvia social service agencies, United States Poverty Millennium (Goals) can be achieved ,state by state, city by city and agencies by agencies. I firmly support his movement. Collaborative efforts can be build between academia, private sectors, and international organization ( United Nations, World Bank) on a consortium of scholar and practioners. It is not that our civil society does not want to work, it simply paving the path toward self sustainability and financial independence. Thus, lets gather our minds and means together and develop the "United States Millennium Goals for Poverty Eradication" ,stat by state and city by city, to end poverty this nation that is a "superpower.” Let us build the bridge out of poverty and brake the vicious cycle of dependency and crate a virtuous cycle of reinvestment in our most abundant economic resource- civil society . Thus, Congress has look at civil society and say, what have we done for social development since the 1960’s and through the turbulent decades.” The focus has to be poverty management and alleviation. We, as a developed nation , have to tap into the sleeping labor supply and catalyze the process of self sustainability and financial independence.
