I have recently begun to work with African refugees from various countries through my church. I am helping with our English as a second language program. Our church also helps the families get established in a new city. The more I get to know my new friends, the more I learn what horific circumstances they have come from. I am humbled, as you said in your video, at the courage and fortitude these families display. My college nephew has expressed an interest in going to Africa after graduation. He hopes to be connected in some way with youth through soccer and is not sure where to start. I plan on forwarding this website to him. I will continue to educate myself firsthand through my new friends from Africa, and I wish you continued good luck through your work to help all African refugees.
