7.4 Earthquake in Indonesia

Shortly after midnight their time, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit the people of Jakarta, Indonesia.

There are no reports of casualties or major damage yet, but a December 2004 earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia killed more than 131,000 people and pushed as many as two million more into poverty.

    Please look at this website and that of surfaid international. The devastation after the earthquake is tremendous. It is not just Padang that is affected.
