She is my Senator and I have been making district office visits here in Austin to talk with her staff about our movement to end extreme poverty and funding levels for PEPFAR, the Global Fund and the MCA for FOUR YEARS now! I'm very pleased to see that some of my efforts over the years were not in vain. I will thank her staff soon when I schedule a time to meet with them regarding funding levels in the FY 2008 budget due for a vote this Fall. This news really made my night.
