PEOPLE I AM ALL FOR GLOBAL HARMONY BUT THE SOONER PEOPLE FOCUS ON AMERICA AND THE ORPHANS AND HOMELESS ON OUR STREETS RIGHT HERE…WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO HELP ANY ONE PERSON WE ARE JUST PISSING IN THE WIND! WE HAVE CHILDREN COMING TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY THAT LIVE IN BURNED OUT MOBILE HOMES, CARS THAT PARK IN DIFFERENT PARKING LOTS EACH WEEK AS NOT TO BE NOTICED AND PICK THEIR MEALS OUT OF GROCER DUMPSTERS!

I hate making these calls. I get nervous and think I’ll sound stupid. I put it off for a 10, 15, 20 minutes after getting an e-mail about the urgency to call in. I look down on the white “one” band on my wrist. I feel like a poser for even thinking of not calling,then I pick up the phone and call. The aides that answer are almost always polite. I find I can’t look at the talking points while calling. I have to get into my head what it’s all about and how I really feel about it, then talk to the office from the gut. It helps knowing that this is exactly the kind of input that they want–and that this is what a representative government is all about.

Easiest phone call I even made to my MOC. Just diailed ONE’s 1-800 number above, was connnected to my MOC and used the talking points on my laptop screen from the e-mail. Thanks for making it SO EASY and fool proof to do the right thing.

What prompted me to call was that news report I believe was done by Sunday Morning over a newstory which showed a huge descrepency between the non-profit farmer and rich land-owning politician who like her very rich media nemesis buys up all of Montana like Ted Turner types were reported to get hundred of thousands of dollars in farming credits from our government versus the farmer who might get a few hundred dollars or so if they’re lucky! What riled me up was that the rich ones hardly did any farming whatsoever!! Also can’t see where profits are taken away from anyone whether they be here or there that actually do this for a living.
