A Timely Time Out Tuesday
Last night I went to Time Out Tuesday to spread the word about ONE Vote ’08. The monthly event is a get together for young professionals in Columbia, SC, held at Hush, a local restaurant and tapas bar. While giving out wristbands and stickers I also received questions about the campaign and received interest in volunteering from the attendees.
Staffers from the Obama campaign were also at the social networking event wearing ONE bands and stickers. We discussed several of ONE’s issues, including Senator Obama’s desire to increase American assistance towards Africa for education, development, and disease prevention and eradication.
