I had a chance to meet President Clinton last week. He was in Vegas for a fundraiser.
During his speech to the attendees, he spoke about the need to fight poverty by ensuring children everywhere have access to primary education, especially in areas of the world that preclude educating young girls. President Clinton said that as he has been able to discuss these issues with countless world leaders, all agree that as America takes the lead on fighting extreme poverty and global disease, the international community will follow.
It was great to realize that these conversations about fighting poverty are not only taking place within the homes and work places of thousands of voters everyday, but also among our world leaders and international advocates.

Bill was a terrible president as far as ONE issues goes, but he’s become a leader on this issues through the Clinton Foundation since leaving office.
Maybe power does corrupt. If it does that means we’re going to have to push hard after the elections to ensure the promised made because of ONE Vote are kept.
