the discussion about the BOP (bottom of the Pyramid)has progressed in the last few years. At least we are talking about how to help these people instead of how we can make money off of them. That is the reality. Another reality is that it is great to talk about we should help this set of people over and over again about helping people. The thing is that until we start talking about WHAT the PLAN is nothing will get done except raising a bunch of money. I assume your organization is all ready putting the money it is raising into worthwhile projects. GREAT! Lets hear more about that then how much we have to do. Focus on the solutions, those are the things that give me hope and a positive feeling that we can get this DONE, NOW!
Paul Hawken has a database of millions of organizations that are out there HELPING people. If you knew about it are you using it? If you are using it why are you hiding the fact you are using it from the general info on the web site? Part of helping the BOP is making the connections that the BOP cannot make because of lack of resources of one or the other. I did not know about YOU until my 14 y.o. daughter sent me your web site. Maybe I can send you one, although I would guess you might have run into Kenny Ausubel and Nina Simmons a while ago, if you haven't you might try looking at www.bioneers.org. One of the things I have heard is 'Its all connected.' and 'Its all intelligent.' How do we make better connections in your organization? Are there places for people to exchange info at?
