On Saturday, April 21st, 12 volunteers from our Central PA ONE group attended Lebanon Valley College’s “ValleyFest” and by the end of the day we were able to obtain 475 signatures for the ONE Declaration! (PA’s ONE volunteers have some very loud voices!)

At the event, one of our very own state representatives, Rep. RoseMarie Swanger stopped by to sign the ONE Declaration. The ONE Central PA group is working with Representative Swanger to bring ONE’s initiatives to the Pennsylvania State Capitol. I’ll keep you posted on our progress!

The following day, on Sunday, April 22nd, Jesse Northridge and I spoke at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lickdale, PA. Jesse presented an amazing powerpoint he prepared and I followed up with relevant talking points. After the service we handed out brochures, stickers, info sheets and sign up sheets. 40 people signed the ONE Declaration, bringing our full weekend effort to over 500 new members.

Every time we sign up a new person, we add a new link to the “ONE Central PA Chain” and I’m happy to report that our chain now has to be transported by at least three people!

I told our group that our events produce these amazing results because we have such terrific people on board! I would like to thank Pastor Dan Donmoyer, Brad McClary, Jesse Northridge, and all of our ONE Central PA members for their work to make our weekend such a success!
