ONE Scholar Christine McNunn reflects on Saturday’s ONE member training in Minneapolis, Minnesota:
“What better way to spend a rainy, chilly spring day than learning more about how we can make the world a better place! I feel much better prepared to speak intelligently about global poverty issues.
I left the Minneapolis training Saturday inspired to head back to Iowa and spread the word on what an important role we play in affecting change. With both of our senators on the committee to reform the farm bill and the parade of presidential candidates we will have access to in the next year, we need to get out there on behalf of global poverty!
Thank you to everyone at ONE for making this such a worthwhile training!
