Loren Leidinger from CARE is talking now about development assistance.

She highlighted how the international affairs budget provides us with an opportunity to fund smart poverty-focused development assistance programs.  Of course talking about the international affairs budget she mentioned our recent victory restoring the $2.2 billion that the Senate Budget Committee cut from the president’s budget request.
