We are at lunch now so I took the opportunity to meet some ONE members.
Michael Starbuck was sitting right behind me, so was naturally the first person I introduced myself to. He is a Houston native but is in his second year at Texas State in San Marcus where he studies sociology. He does every e-mail action, but wants to take fighting poverty to the next level. He came to the training today hoping to get some ideas about how to bring ONE to his campus in the fall. Good luck Michael!

David Yang and Danae Denton are two high school students who just met each other today. David is from Sugar Land, which is a suburb of Houston. Danae hails from Plano, which is just north of Dallas. They are both in eleventh grade and are here to get ideas for ONE clubs at their schools.

Regular blog readers likely already know Debbie K, a regular commenter. Debbie is in from Austin today with other members of ONE Austin to learn how they can take their group to the next level. They just wrapped up some action around the South by Southwest music festival and looking for their next big action. If you live around Austin make sure to join their Yahoo group.

Brianne is originally from Edmonton in Alberta, Canada. She is a mother of two and will soon be starting work on her masters in nursing UTMB in Galveston. She has been a ONE member for a while and wanted to get connected with the local ONE groups so that she can take more effective action. She knows she makes a difference taking the online actions, but wanted to do more to fight poverty than just click on “send.”
The ONE Blog is a daily log of the anti-poverty movement. The site is operated by ONE staff, with frequent contributions from volunteers, members and partner organizations.
The ONE Blog updates readers daily with the latest in global development news and analysis and what ONE members and our partners are doing around the world to influence world leaders in the fight against global poverty.
The content of each post and each comment represents the views of that author and does not necessarily reflect the views of ONE or ONE Action. ONE does not support or oppose any candidate for elected office, and any post expressing support or opposition for a candidate is not endorsed by ONE.

The article pretty clearly states that they are working on proof of concept examples, but I think it’s understandable that they would share that information with the vendors prior to releasing it to the general public. ,
