U2 win’s MTV U’s Woodie award for Greatest Social Impact
U2 and ONE Campaign partner DATA (Debt, AIDS, Trade, Africa) have won MTV U’s
“The Good Woodie” award for Greatest Social Impact. Certainly all the
work Bono and YOU have done with ONE has played a huge role in this.
Thanks to you, ONE has become a movement of over 1.6 million Americans
who are standing up, saying to our leaders – we have the potential, the
power and the responsibility to make extreme poverty history – in our
lifetimes. We know it is possible, and together, as ONE we are making
real and tangible progress in pushing this movement forward – thank you!
